Progressive Suspension Shocks

Progressive Suspension Shocks

Progressive Suspension is a brand name for one of the premium factory made shock absorber series on the market. Used mainly on motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), these shocks are also sometimes featured on cars and trucks that have been lowered ("low-riders") as well.

These shocks are similar to struts in design with a combination of a coiled spring and a gas- (including air), fluid-, or gel-filled center absorber. They are made to easily replace original equipment shocks on most applications without modification.

Progressive Suspension shocks are known for their durability, high quality, and consistent performance. For motorcycle owners, they are often considered the cream of the crop. They are partially hand-made and their price point reflects that.

The company began business building custom spring systems for remote controlled cars and then went into motorcycles and ATVs. Most Progressive shock absorbers can be rebuilt, so they do not usually require full replacement, making them often a one-time purchase.
