2003 Dodge Stratus, 2.4L 4-cyl sedan. I Want to do standard maintenance on it--oil change, filter, PCV replace, replace spark plugs (and any relating electronic parts associated with the plugs), etc. I need some general guidelines on doing maintenance

Oil and filter are simple to

Oil and filter are simple to do as is pcv replacement, all these parts are available at your favorite aauto parts store. When draining the oil from the pan use the correct size wrench and be careful not to round off the bolt. Tightening it back up, do the same, it does not have to be gorilla tight. Oil filter should remove by hand, I recommend Fram Sure Grip, they work great and are easy to remove and install. Just hand tighten the filter, snug it down good and lube the o ring with a little oil before it goes back on. Always change the oil and filter at the same time. PCV valve caan be done every 30000 and alwaays check the air filter. Doing the plugs is only necessary every 90-100,000 miles. The front two are easy, the back ones are a bit more of a challenge and require some serious effort.

Good Luck and recycle the used oil where you bought it.
