Engine lights and acc comes on but car wont turn over, do I just go buy a new battery or is it something else that is causing the problem , should I replace anything else before getting a battery

check connections look for
check connections look for corosion if any corrision then clean up and tighten then try that if no loose or doroded then check wires to starter, if good then get multi meter and check voltage at battery should be at least 12 volts

did this yesterday to home boys if batt. good take off starter and test with jumper cables or take it to auto zone the'll test it. good luck
