Fuel Filter is located at the right rear of vehicle above fuel tank
REMOVAL
Relieve the fuel pressure.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
Remove the fuel filter shield.
1 Remove the nuts.
2 Remove the shield.
Remove the fuel filter.
1 Disconnect the fuel lines.
2 Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter support.
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

fuel filter is located under
fuel filter is located under the pass front area , there is a heat sheild in front of it , has 3 {13 mm} head bolts holding it on , then a small plastic splash pan behind it , 2{10 mm} nuts hold it on. The fuel filter has 2 small lines on the inlet side , this takes a special release tool available from most parts stores (can rent at some stores).
Be sure to relieve the fuel pressure before disconnecting the fuel line. To do this wrap a shop rag around the fuel rail at place where you check fuel pressure (a little valve stem type outlet). Press down on the center pin of the stem to allow fuel to spray out (catching it with the rag so that it doesn't spray all over the engine). when the pressure is relieved you are ready to take the fuel filter off.
