The Jeep has a distributor
1. Verify the distributor is installed correctly. With the engine on Top Dead Center (TDC) for number one cylinder the rotor should be just leaving the number one tower of the distributor cap.
2. Check the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) signal and verify the correct signal. A damaged flywheel can cause an incorrect pattern as well.
