how do i put transmission fluid in my car a 98 pontiac sunfire has no dipstick

im no pro but if the car is a

im no pro but if the car is a manual you probaly have to jack the car up and get a bottle pump to pump fluid into the tranny.i had to do this on several cars and all were stick shift and if its not stick shift than i have no idea. oh yeah this is also how you check your fluid.

1st located the transmission

1st located the transmission dipstick under the hood, if its automatic. it looks like an oil dip stick but its on the transmission side of the engine towards the back. with the engine at idle, the emergency brake on and the transmission in park pull the dip stick, wipe it off and re-insert and pull it out again. should be at the full mark if its at normal running temp. you can add fluid through the dip stick if its low but just a little at a time as you don't want it past the full hot mark on the stick.
