how do you change a car battery


Pretty simple, disconnect

Pretty simple, disconnect your battery cables from the battery and unbolt the battery brackets. Pull the battery out and put the new one in just how you took the old one out. Make sure you get the connections good and tight.

disconnect the battery cable

disconnect the battery cable from the positive and negative on the battery by unbolting the bolt on the cables themselves (8mm socket or wrench usually). then tuck the cables out of the way, lift the batter if clean and walmart will usually give you a discount on a new battery if you exchange for the old one. put the new battery on the bracket and reconnect the cables.
P.S. If the battery is leaking acid, autozone,O'rielly atuoparts, and advance all sell a tool to pick up batteries without ever touching them

remove the pos /neg

remove the pos /neg cables,the battery should be held in place by a plastic anchor with bolt,losen then take out battery.
