Where is the fill/check location found on my 2005 3.4L Automatic AWD Chevy Equinox for the transmission fluid?


check the case above the pan

check the case above the pan rail, there is a tap plug. start eng. with the trans. in park remove the plug. if fluid comes out let it drain until it stops. if nothing comes out add a little fluid until it starts to come out then replace plug, trans. is now full. note: transmissiom should be warm when checking fluid

Thank you. With this tranny being a sealed trans, I am having trouble locating the plug. I was informed it was a bolt near the transaxle. Is this correct? Thank you.
