d on which side ?
I can;t locate the dip stick to check the tranny fluid
in my 2001 GMC Jimmy. Is it in the front or back and on the left or right side ?

James, Off the top of my head
James,
Off the top of my head I'm thinking passenger side rear near the fire wall. It should be near the AC accumulator and the valve cover. It will have the larger tube that will accommodate a funnel.
