2000 GMC Jimmy-I replaced the drivers side front axel & no ABS light. replaced the passengers and it came on. After that, the ABS would try to kick in. has not done it for awhile but light is still on. Any ideas?

the speed sensor must have
the speed sensor must have got compermized. check the wiring by the hub. check that the hub nut is tight enogh. it stopped kicking in because the bcm shut the abs off. if you donn't see any thing wrong with wiring, you should get the code read. a cheap scan tool will not read it. at worest you'll need a new hub. let us know. mws919
UPDATE: Had the ABS read
UPDATE: Had the ABS read today - comes back that either the hub is bad or it's the harness. I've switched out the hub 2 times already, but good news is it's lifetime warrantied. We will try this a 3rd time. Could this have any effect to the 4x4 I've been having challenges with changing from 2Hi to 4x4 by itself?
