Clint, Could be the filter
Clint,
Could be the filter (and or) the fuel pump. Attach a "Fuel Pressure Gauge" to the rail and drive with the gauge attached, then post the fuel PSI values so we can see them. Could also be an EGR valve problem, or a problem with the EGR passageways being clogged up with carbon. Ignore the check engine light. Do a scan for any error codes, even if the check engine light is off. If there are error codes, post them so we can see them.
