I have a 1996 Ford Taurus, the headlights turn on no matter what, and they stay on no matter what. I'll have the light switch turned off and everything but they still stay on, even with the keys out of the ignition and everything. Suggestions?

sounds like the head light
sounds like the head light relay is sticking.
try swapping it with another relay of the same number in the relay center.

Sorry, I'm car illiterate but I'll dig around and look for it, where would this be located? Where can I get another relay?
Also, try wiggling the
Also, try wiggling the headlight switch to see if the lights will go off (wiggle and rapidly turn it on and off several times). If this works, the switch is bad.

I've tried that, it still won't go off, the brights indicator comes on too even though I don't have them on.
is in the under hood fuse
is in the under hood fuse box.
Looked at wiring diagram and
Looked at wiring diagram and it could be the multi-function switch. To check, dosconnect the headlight switch and if the headlights are still on, the problem is in the multi-function switch.
when lights are on and won't
when lights are on and won't go off, pull fuse #30 (underhood) this fuse controls the bright lights and if this gets the light to go out, suspect the multi-function switch. When lights are on bright power bypasses the headlight switch and goes directly to the multi-function switch.
Also try pulling fuse #18, it controls the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL). If this solves the problem the DRL is most likely bad and needs to be replaced. It is located in the left front fender wheel well area. Easy to swap once you take the fender lining out, but best bet is to pull the fuse. may be able to find one at a salvage yard.
