rough idle
I have a 1994 Ford Bronco with a 5.8L engine. It rough idles when the engine is cold but doesn't when engine is warm. The rpms are about 300-600 when it idles rough. What could cause this?

Here’s just a partial list of what you need to rule out (or rule in) for that matter in terms of a rough idle. When you successfully rule out (or rule in) any of the items, on the list posted below, know that more items will be posted for you must to either rule out (or rule in). As always, (and obviously) since this is an online auto repair forum, and we don’t have your vehicle in front of us, you must post all test results so that we can help you further. A “Rough Idle” problem such as yours is a very broad problem and can virtually endless possibilities. Know and understand it could have multiple roots. You must understand that the rough idle could be caused by quite a number of different things. That is why accuracy is of the utmost importance when your answer to the basics shown below.
Fuel pressure and or volume (PSI) status?
Outside unwanted and or ambient air status?
Engine vacuum pressure status?
EGR Issues?
EGR passageway issues?
Evap system issues?
Primary and secondary ignition issues?
Exhaust back-pressure issues?
Cylinder compression issues?
MIL error codes?
