1988 chevy suburban, is there a fuse or relay for the fuel pump,is the fuel pump located in gas tank

yes, there is a fuse and a relay in the fuel pump circuit, fuel pump is in tank. what is the problem? no start?

its in the fuse box under the hood on the fender

the relay is behind a plastic cover under the hood on the pasanger fire wall. the fuse is also located there. there will be a few relays, but the cover should tell you witch is witch. if not let me know. mws919
