1999 Chevy Venture Van...If I jump start it it will start and run for about 25 minutes before dying. It doesn't restart after that. It has a brand new battery and alternator. What could be causing it to drain like that and not start again?

when it is running how many volts is going to the battery? have autozone/adavance check you system for free
did you charge the battery
did you charge the battery fully after replacing the alternator? sometimes a new alternator will burn out if u try to recharge a dead battery
The battery is brand new.
The battery is brand new. Just yesterday we jumped it again and it ran for about 20 and again the same thing. Tried jumping it after that and it wouldn't take this time. I heard something about a relay box?
Have the charging system
Have the charging system checked by a reputible shop. It seems that this is beyond the average do-it-yourselfer. Might be a simple problem, however you'll need some "special equipment" to locate the problem.
on that van its hard to get
on that van its hard to get to the alternator plug but if u can check see if u have power goin to it. this is what flashes the alt field to make it charge should be one or two wires on plug. also only fuse box is underhood pertaining to the alternator u can look up wiring diag at autozone.com

i looked up charging diag only shows one fuse. an alt sense fuse 10amp in power distribution box under hood
