1999 Chevy Venture Van...If I jump start it it will start and run for about 25 minutes before dying. It doesn't restart after that. It has a brand new battery and alternator. What could be causing it to drain like that and not start again?

when it is running how many

when it is running how many volts is going to the battery? have autozone/adavance check you system for free

did you charge the battery

did you charge the battery fully after replacing the alternator? sometimes a new alternator will burn out if u try to recharge a dead battery

The battery is brand new.

The battery is brand new. Just yesterday we jumped it again and it ran for about 20 and again the same thing. Tried jumping it after that and it wouldn't take this time. I heard something about a relay box?

Have the charging system

Have the charging system checked by a reputible shop. It seems that this is beyond the average do-it-yourselfer. Might be a simple problem, however you'll need some "special equipment" to locate the problem.
