2000 nissan frontier

my 2000 nissan frontier is having trouble starting. Battery and alternator are both good. it turns over but very slow and drawn out. any ideas what it might be?

nis, All connections

nis,

All connections (especially grounds) must be on tight. They also have to be clean and free of a all dirt, rust, and corrosion. Use one part water and one part baking soda to clean all the connections. If none of the above make a difference, then replace both battery cables.

Nis, Prior to replacing any

Nis,

Prior to replacing any cables you might want to perform a voltage drop test to confirm that they are faulty.

Let us know if you need help performing that test.

Also, you mentioned the battery and alternator are good but I'm not sure how you confirmed this. If you haven't already, you might want to consider performing a starting/charging system test. Most Autozones will do this for free.

Post back here with your findings. Thanks.
