the switch is part of door
the switch is part of door latch. if disconnected it will cause alarm/theft system problems. i'd say have it fixed.
this is not posable to do as
this is not posable to do as the anti theft system,will then be inop and you may cause other problems like car wont start/or starts and then cuts off,better to have it replaced by a shop due to special tools needed.
