If you have access, connect a

If you have access, connect a fuel gage to the schrader on the fuel rail (if you have one since I don't know what kind of vheicle, year, ect..) key up vehicle and check gage, if theres no or low pressure after sitting, you could have a bad check valve in the fuel pump assy, which is located in the tank. Once vehicle starts let run a few, shut off and gage should stay up 32 to 36psi. If after a short time pressure drops, your check valve is bad.
