Can a factory alarm be disabled on a 2001 Buick Century? If so how?

check with dealer service

check with dealer service writer but pulling the fuse should disable it.

Pulling fuses may also

Pulling fuses may also disable some other component that you didn't intend to. Most fuses protect more that one circuit.

You can't simply pull the

You can't simply pull the fuse on the security system, because it's a "SHARED" circuit. In other words, if you simply pull the fuse any other (circuit or accessory) that shares the same circuit won't work. Instead of pulling the fuse and trying to "BYPASS" the system, why don't you tell us in detail exactly what the problem is. This way we can tell you how to repair the circuit (system) rather than "BYPASS" it. Also tell us how it was concluded that the "FACTORY ALARM" was found to be at fault?

it's also part of the body

it's also part of the body control module and can only be repaired not disconnected.
