2000 Pontiac Grand Am Gt1
Ramair v6 engine

Ashley, When does this

Ashley,

When does this problem occur?

Only when you let off of the gas or at idle?

Only under acceleration?

Only at cruise?

Only when hot?

Only when cold?

Is there any pattern?

You mentioned that there are no lights. Does the engine light work?

Post back with more info. We'll be glad to help. Thanks.

Ashley, The fact that the car

Ashley,

The fact that the car starts right back up after it stalls means you have an issue with fuel flow, pressure and volume. While this is not a fuel filter issue, that doesn't mean you shouldn't replace the fuel filter if it hasn't been replaced recently. A defective fuel pressure sensor could be causing your problem. Other possible causes include a defective sock screen at the fuel pump, a defective fuel pressure regulator, and a weak fuel pump. Perform a fuel pump volume test and post the results. Also post any error codes that are set. Is the issue more problematic when the fuel tank is half full, and less problematic when the tank is full?
