engine light
I have a 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 and the engine light came on. car runs good, but when I stop at signs, it dies, but will start again and run good, Could this be bad fuel, air filter or what????

The stalling could be from any number of things. Thing is we’re pro’s here and we never guess, especially when the guessing is with another persons money. Losers and wannabe mechanics guess, and throw parts at a problem till it’s fixed. The fact that the check engine light is on means there is at least one stored error code in the cars ECM. Any Auto Zone store reads error codes for free. Go to an Auto Zone store and have a scan done for error codes. If a code or codes is set post it so we can see it.
