Jeff, Could be a number of
Jeff,
Could be a number of different things. We have to look at the basics (below) first before we go lookin for a bigger problem.
Are you usin cheap gas? You should use only a Top Tier fuel.
Do you fill-up at the half way mark, or do you let the level in the tank go down to almost empty before you fill up? If you do, that's a bad idea because, at that point the fuel pump is drawing up all the dirt and water laying at the bottom of tank, and introducing it into the fuel system.
How long have you had this problem?
Are the spark plugs and ignition cables long overdue for a replacement?
Did the problem start after a routine service or repair. If it did, what was the nature of that routine service or repair?
Has the fuel filter been replaced recently?
Post the results of a fuel pressure test.
Post the results of an engine vacuum pressure test.
A scan for stored error codes is free at any Auto Zone store. Have a scan done and post any codes that are set.
Just replaced spark plugs,
Just replaced spark plugs, had the fuel filter replaced today and still slowly dies either in park, nuetral or drive at stop light. This just started the other day, when driving up hill you do not get very much power at all even at a slight grade.

Hello Jeff, Thank you for
Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your above posting which serves as an update. It does help a little, but in the interest of posting accurate repair information (and so we can help you further) you must answer the questions that continue to go unanswered. Kindly remember that this is an online auto repair forum, and we don't have your Ford in front of us. With that being said, if we don't ask questions, and if you don't answer those questions we cannot help you.
Thank You
Helene
