Yes i have the right fluid level and the trans. was on another van i replace the speed senser and monitering the fluid. The next thing would be the codes read. friends have told me not to reliable but i will do my home work. Thank you jerryh20 for the tip i will post after.

Ford 150 1999 problem with
Ford 150 1999 problem with water from the heater it very strong smell inside my truck but no water inside only on the out side. I have took apart the inside dash not totaly but more than tree cuarter of it do i have to work from the inside becouse it is conected bethween the inside wall and the external wall. My evaporater thats in the inside has to be replace thats why i am on that mission.

Work from the inside. although you'll have to disconnect the heater hoses from the outside when the time comes.
Did you notice any coolant coming out of the drain hose whic protrudes through the firewall on the passenger's side? You'll have to look from underneath the truck. Coolant from this hose mean that you have a heater core problem.
