How to troubleshoot, fix a misfire. i have a 1998 Chevy S10 with a 4.3L auto and 2wd, the truck has a fuel cell with an aftermarket fuel pump, and i was not able to find the fuel pressure regulator, or the fuel pressure regulator sensor, and i was try

I think that the problem is

I think that the problem is that there is too much fuel pressure, or that is might even think it is too lean because of a sensor and causing a lean misfire. Whnen loking at the engine codes there was a P0300, P0452, and p0101. I am just wondering if there is a way to maybe put a generic fuel regulator or even a stock one back on and if that would fix a misfire problem. i replaced all the plugs and wires, and then checked them after driving 150 miles, and there were all carboned and black, with one of them actually being oily. Please help!!!
