I drive a 1994 hyundai excel.when i am stopped at a stop light,with the clutch in.my car seems to idle low,and then idles normal again.but some of the time it dies on me when the idle is low.Can you please help me with what the problem is? Thank you

Incorrect ignition timing can cause the engine to hunt or surge at idle.
Fuel Delivery -
Low fuel delivery can cause the engine to run lean and hunt or surge.
Vacuum -
A vacuum leak can cause the engine to hunt or surge at idle.
Closed Throttle Position (CTP) Switch -
A faulty Closed Throttle Position (CTP) switch can cause the engine to hunt or surge at idle.
