I have a 2002 chevy 2500 silverado HD Diesel. my truck starts fine and idols good but when i put it in drive i cant turn my steering wheel and my brakes are hard in wont go down. belt is ok and yes i have fluid. what can it be? HELP

check the power steering
check the power steering fluid. the brakes and power steering work from the same pump. donn't mix up brake fluid and power steering fluids, it'll cost about $2000.00 to fix
it could also be the airline
it could also be the airline comming from the brake booster might have something in it. try taking it out and checking the line
