Sounds like you have a blower

Sounds like you have a blower motor resistor.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.

2. Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.

3. Remove the blower motor resistor screws.

4. Remove the blower motor resistor.

To install:

1. Install the blower motor resistor.

2. Tighten the blower motor resistor screws to 13 inch. lbs. (1.5 Nm).

3. Install the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.

4. Install the right closeout panel.




A blower motor resistor regulates blower motor speed by allowing only a certain amount of power to pass through the component. Once failed will only work at 1 or 2 speeds.
