Check for loose, broken or
Check for loose, broken or missing exhaust hangers (rubber pieces which suspend the exhaust do that it doesn't bump against the body or frame).
The engine will move to one side or the other when starting, due to torque. If an exhaust hanger is missing or broken it can allow the exhaust to hit somthing during start-up.
