I have a 89' Cadillac Deville. Today while driving it the Temperature Coolant Fan Light came on. It was on for about 1min then went off then flashed on and off about 2 times and never came back on. Is there something that needs replaceing?

is it overheating? open the hood - turn the a/c on and see if the fan is on. watch your temp so it doesn't overheat.

Check the connection at the fan. With the engine off, spin the fan by hand and listen for noise (a growling noise from the fan motor) this could indicate a fan motor on its' way out.
