I have a 92 Ford Ranger 4x2, 300k on engine. Recently,it will be running fine and then it seems to lose power, although it still runs.At times, it will lose power, like it's air starved and all of a sudden it will regain itself and run like normal (which

Drive with a "Fuel Pressure

Drive with a "Fuel Pressure Gauge" (UNDER DIFFERENT ENGINE LOADS) attached to the "Fuel Rail" and post the results.

Drive with an "Engine Vacuum Pressure Gauge" (UNDER DIFFERENT ENGINE LOADS) attached to an "Intake Manifold Vacuum Source" and post the results.

Post the results of a "Compression Test".

Has the "Fuel Filter" been changed recently?

Post the results of a "Fuel Pump Volume" test.

IGNORE !!!! the "MIL" (aka check engine light). Scan for error codes even if the "MIL" is OFF !!!! If codes are present, post them so we can see them, along with the "Live Data".
