Hi. I'm Tim West,

You have a bad daytime running light module. (DRL)

Here is the test

1. Unplug the #15 fuse (15 amp) of the Battery Junction Box (BJB) to see if the headlights go out.

2. If the headlights go out when pulling the fuse, access the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) module from under the vehicle, inspect the wires for shorting to each other.

3. With the fuse installed, check the casing of the DRL module for voltage. If voltage is detected on the casing of the module, service the module for a loose mounting to the vehicle chassis.

4. If the module does not indicate any voltage on its casing, check for voltage on the Orange wire at pin 2. This should ONLY be hot when the key is in the run position. If it has power on it with the key off, start pulling fuses to see which circuit is shorted to power. If there is no power on the Orange wire, the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) is internally shorted and will need replacement

The DRL module is located

The DRL module is located under the battery area of the vehicle attached to the radiator support behind the inner fender. It has an 8 terminal black connector containing 7 wires.
