you can get manuals fairly cheap on line with a little searching. i always have one for each of my cars and if you are keeping the car awhile its a good investment plus saves you lots of money when you fix it yourself.

I know of nothing online but if you go to your local library, you can view theirs for free.....

this site is about the closest thing to free info, autozone has a parts install section, but nothing on diag.

Along with autozone you can join a repair forum for the type of vehicle you have, you'll find some free info there and links to good sites for you vehicle.

Once at the site identify you car under the heading "current Vehicle"
Next click "Repair Info" on the tabs below the AutoZone logo.
At the middle of the page go to "Your Ride, Your Guide" and click "Become a member" set you username and password
Log-in and click "Vehicle repair guide"
Select the category for the repair needed.
Select (on the left) type of repair needed.
Page opens to your repair info.
