My 2004 Trailblazers airconditioning unit will only work on power level 4 and 5, which wasn't a problem since it was the end of summer. Now that cold weather is upon us, whenever I try to turn the heat or defogger on, the truck starts to stall.


do you mean the fan only

do you mean the fan only works on 4 + 5 speed. if that is the case than you need the blower motor resistor replaced. if it is a blower motor problem, than that will not cause a stall and there may be 2 problems. the only link to the heater and engin, is when defrost or a/c are turned on the engin should idle up just a bit to compensate for the added load. and that part is controled by the computer. let us know, mws919
