My key won't come out all the time in my 2000 Grand Prix. Read on another post where you remove a cap up under the steering wheel and use a screwdriver to release the key. This does work, but has anyone had this problem and actually had it repaired?

sounds like shift cable is out of adjustment. you will have to remove center console to check.
