my other car is a 98 ford contour it idles rough in park and somtimes shuts off, i recently did a tune up, alternator engine is a 2.0

also my heat works when on low but when on high it gets cools what could that be

Your first issue sounds like an ethanol related fuel issue buy an ethanol fuel additive and update all tuneup parts, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter and start an ethanol fuel treatment 1 bottle of additive should treat 4 or 5 gas tank fulls and should correct your idling issue.
