I see you have no answer here yet! My daughters 88 3.8 royale has the same problem! The only response I get from the locals is : Get the error code (older code) I suspect it has to so with the "computer" run system.... I was just about to go down the same road (change fuel filter etc...)If I find a solution, I'll be quick to pass it on.... seems there are many occurrences of the same problem... seems someone would see a pattern .. or the solution......hhhhmmmmm...
