Nissan, Pathfinder, 2001 - WHen I accelerate (particulary when turning), I hear a static-like noise. It does not happen when I am NOT accelerate and does not happen every time I accelerate.

check belts and power
check belts and power steering fluid level
Power steering fluid was low.
Power steering fluid was low. topped off with lucas power steering stop leak fluid. Leak appears to be above steering rack on passenger side. Not sure what the part is, there are multiple hoses in and out of it, and the hoses look ok.
does the hoses have a piece
does the hoses have a piece of foam protection around it if so leak could be behind that and usally on the high pressure side
It does not have any foam...
It does not have any foam... I have pictures but I do not see a function to load them here...
the part is just next to the oil filter.
