what makes the interior lights work on a 1993 eagle summit es though chaging the factory stereo harness there is no where to connect the interior lights wire to help me please

all factory stereo plugs
all factory stereo plugs contain light circuit or 12v power for radio+ lights, use test light on car side of plug,turning light switch knob till dash/dome lights come on to determine which one it is,if there is no circuit, find a dash/cluster illumination bulb you can splice into,be careful not to short anything!can become expensive quick! take/talk to a qualified stereo installer/tech/mobile service.
