wheel noise
I have a 2000 oldsmoble intrige I just started to hear a noise in the front, drivers side tire. Like a grinding sound, when whell goes round. Off and on, sometimes gets loud. I am afraid my tire might fall off!!! (happened to me before w/ another car, so I am abit cautous).

VCHAP, First check the brake
VCHAP, First check the brake pads to make sure they are not worn down to the point where they are cutting into the rotors. If the brakes check out ok then check the wheel bearings for play. When it comes to play in wheel bearings any play is to much play, and if there is any play the bearing must be replaced.
