1992 Mazda b2300 4 cyl 5-spd Two Wheel Drive Manual There is no shudder or perceptible slipping of the clutch when I accelerate. Acceleration is very slow. I have to rev the engine to 3500-4000 RPM's to eventually get up to speed.

Coasts fine. No oil or transmission fluid oders. From a dead stop, goes into gear ok, no shudder or slipping. Have to rev engine to 4000+ RPM's to gain momentum, same through all gears, takes a while to get up to speed, especially uphill against a head wind ;)

yeah, that's the conclusion I came to. Decided I did not want to get it fixed. Just got back from buying a new one. Got a great deal, $3,500.00 rebate. Gonna put an Amsoil dual oil filter system on it and use aircraft engine oil. Gonna drive it for the next twenty years! Thanks for the comments!
