1995 Isuzu Trooper 3.2L SOHC. Water pump started going out. Replaced it along with the timing belt and spark plugs. Now engine idles rough and has slow acceleration / hesitation. Mechanic says belt was installed correctly. What else should I look for? Thx

The rough idle and slow
The rough idle and slow acceleration is an indicator that the timing marks are not right. I personally would start by retiming the motor paying close attention to details I think you'll find you may be off 1 tooth on the timing marks.good luck
