1997 ford ranger i have disabeld the clutch safty switch by shoving a peice of wood in it but now the cruse wont worh cause it thant the clutch is pushed in

As a caution, when installing the remote start you'll have to be extra careful that you don't forget to shift the transmission into neutral when you park, otherwise it could crank up and go, possibly injuring someone. Make sure that the E-brake is always in good working condition.
beside all the bickering back
beside all the bickering back and forth i think thar was 1 that might have some merit but it says 1987 thru 1989 f-150,s but it has the same wiring i think THANKS IF YOU FIND ANY THANG ELSE LET ME KNOW ps. i wonder y (mws919) did not chime in on the subject????
