1998 Ford Ranger, what would cause the cab to blow hot air all the time. Feels like the heater is on. Also, the air bag warnig light keeps coming on. not sure if this is related or not?

Check to see if the air
Check to see if the air conditioning compressor is clicking on when the A/c is turned on inside. If not, the a/c system is likely low on freon and needs to be recharged.
Have a shop to scan the computer for the air bag codes. This will give you an idea as to what to check in order to get the air bag light ot go off. Post the code here and we'll try to lead you throught the diagnostic process.

Thanks, but do you think the A/C is is the problem, even when everything is turned off, I pulled the fuse from the blower and hot air continues to blow into the cab?

try sliding the blend lever"hot/cold"on control, while watchiing witch cable is moving under dash, then reomve the cable from that dood lever and move it by hand, see if you can feel the door moving.

These doors sometimes break
These doors sometimes break off from the bottom. you'll have to remove the heater "box" in order to replace it.
