1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.4L Cylinder Head Replacement Help???

My brother in law took this head off the car due to a blown head gasket and now my mom wants it gone off the lawn. I am going to reinstall a new head and head gasket but have a couple quick questions

I need to know how the timing marks need to be aligned when i put the head on so that the timing is set correctly. and is it okay for me to rotate the engine without the head on to get it to the correct location? Any help would be great

Gavin

Yes it is ok to rotate the crankshaft without the head on it but once the head is on it do not rotate it without the timing belt on it properly. Don't forget the balance (silent) shaft belt.

Post back with any other questions. We'll be glad to help.
