the gurgelling sound is low coolant. does the compressor click on when you turn on a/c. has any work been done on it lately? evap. cores donn't make noise. let me know. mws919
We keep putting coolant in it, it's got a leak. Can't find the leak and we have replaced one of the main parts - can't think of the part name. it's a silver sort of pill looking part that sits at the top of the engine compartment and has the rubber lines (listed next) attached. We've been told to replace the rubber lines that run from it (it's two lines that have 90 degree angle metal ends) but they don't seem to be bad or plugged.
donn't replace any thing until you find the leak. do you smell coolant in the car?
we do not smell anything in the car. No coolant or any different smell. Only hear the gurgling.
is there any white smoke comming from tail pipe?
do not believe so...nothing out of the ordinary, but we do know the leak is not in the engine compartment. It's got to be in the dash somewhere...
have a shop pressure test the cooling system and identify the leak for you.
