2003 Chevy Silverado: I recently replaced the battery in my truck and ran good. It sat for approximately 1 week and now my truck has 0 power. My first thought was the alternator but shouldn't my battery have some power left? What should I look at?

you've got a draw on batt.,

you've got a draw on batt., at work now, i'll post how to check it tonight. mws919

Most likely the battery

Most likely the battery caused the alternator to smoke, if the battery is bad the alternator will keep trying to charge it. Take the alternator off and have it checked, hope it helps ya.

do you want to diag. it

do you want to diag. it yourself? mws919
