91 chevy 1500 speedometer
i replaced the speed sensor and the cluster the speedo still does not work . when i take the speedo out and put it an a identical truck then it works but not in my truck. what could it be?

Wiring issue. Most likely connections. Jiggle the wire harnesses and wire connectors around that are goin to the cluster. If it starts to work then you know you're dealin with a connection problem.
