for 3.3l Disconnect negative cable. Drain coolant. Remove air cleaner assembly. Remove the thermostat housing bolt and stud. See Fig. 8 . Remove the thermostat and discard gasket. Use a NEW gasket upon installation. Clean and inspect manifold mating surfaces. Clean and inspect coolant outlet mating surfaces. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification
