Ballgame, There is no module
Ballgame,
There is no module but there are sensors. Idle is controlled, set and altered via the PCM. At this time don't buy or replace any parts or sensors. The first thing to do is to:
Thoroughly clean out the throttle body.
Post any error codes that are set.
Rule out engine vacuum issues.
Thoroughly lube the throttle cable.
Rule out fuel pressure issues.
Rule out lean engine issues.
Rule out exhaust leaks.
Let me be clear about something with regards to error codes. I want you to ignore the MIL (aka check engine light). Do a scan even if the light is OFF. From there post any code or codes that are set.
