Toyota recommends a 5W-30
Toyota recommends a 5W-30 engine oil. It can be either conventional, a synthetic blend or a full synthetic.
There were some slight problems with sludge build-up earlier models of Seinna engines but haven't found any TSb's on sludge problems on the '05 model. If still in doubt call dealer and ask for recommended viscosity and type.
